The Budapest Stock Exchange blue-chip BUX index opened Monday trade down 1.5% at 16,791.

The four blue-chip stocks stood as follows at Monday’s opening bell:

Drugmaker Richter was down 2.8% at HUF 33,200.

Oil and gas group MOL was down 2.5% at HUF 15,020.

Magyar Telekom was down 1% at HUF 484.

OTP Bank did not report at Monday’s opening bell.

On Friday, the BUX closed down 6.2% to 17,042 on a turnover of HUF 32.96 billion.
