The Budapest Stock Exchange's blue-chip BUX index opened Monday trade down 0.7% at 14,836.90.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Monday's opening bell.

OTP Bank was down 1.72% at HUF 2,750;

Oil and gas company MOL was down 0.66% at HUF 14,300;

Magyar Telekom was down 0.21% at HUF 474;

Drug company Richter was down 0.20% at HUF 29,740.

On Friday, the BUX closed down 1.40% to 14,940.77 on a turnover of HUF 21bn.
