BUX opens down 0.54%

The Budapest Stock Exchange’s blue-chip BUX index opened Monday trade down 0.54% at 16,937.44.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Monday’s opening bell:

Oil and gas company MOL was down 0.94% at HUF 17,835;

OTP Bank was down 0.66% at HUF 3,010;

Drug company Richter was down 0.30% at HUF 35,250;

Magyar Telekom was unchanged at HUF 500.

On Friday, the BUX closed down 1.96% to 17,030.14 on a turnover of HUF 18.19bn.
