The Budapest Stock Exchange’s main BUX index opened down 0.32% at 16,884.07 on Wednesday on a decline by OTP Bank.
OTP Bank started trade down 2.14% at HUF 3,068.
Oil and gas company MOL was flat at HUF 17,800.
Magyar Telekom also opened unchanged at HUF 500.
Drugmaker Richter was up 0.88% at HUF 34,300 at the start of the session.
Europe’s biggest indices were also lower a few minutes after the start of trade on Wednesday.
