The Budapest Stock Exchange’s blue-chip BUX index opened Wednesday trade down 0.23% at 16,886.33.
BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Wednesday’s opening bell:
OTP Bank was down 0.62% at HUF 3,022;
Oil and gas company MOL was down 0.23% at HUF 17,700;
Magyar Telekom was unchanged at HUF 520;
Drug company Richter did not report at Wednesday’s open.
On Tuesday, the BUX closed down 1.15% to 16,924.89 on a turnover of HUF 8.12bn.
