BUX gains 3.50% in morning

The Budapest Stock Exchange's main BUX index rose 3.50% to 18,664.42 at noon on Monday, advancing along with peers.

OTP Bank advanced 5.31% to HUF 4,423, oil and gas company MOL gained 5.55% to HUF 17,310, drug maker Richter inched down 0.07% to HUF 34,375 and Magyar Telekom advanced 1.84% to HUF 499.

Share turnover amounted to HUF 8.1bn for the morning.

Major Western European share indices were all rising, with London's FTSE up 0.44%, Frankfurt's DAX gaining 1.00% and the CAC-40 in Paris advancing 0.28%.

Elsewhere in the CEE region, Warsaw's WIG-20 rose 1.66% and Prague's PAX-50 gained 2.12%.
