BUX gains 1.6% on positive sentiment

The Budapest Stock Exchange blue-chip BUX index closed Friday trade up 1.6% to 18,032 as the positive correction begun on Thursday continued to provide the value of shares traded at the BSE with a boost.
The BUX gained 286 points on a composite exchange turnover of HUF 17.78 billion, rising for the second consecutive day after losing 2,351.8 points, or 11.9%, during the first three trade sessions of the week. The BUX fluctuated in a 4.1% range between an intraday low of 17,535.70 at 9:15 a.m. and a high of 18,250.94 at 3:30 p.m.
The four blue-chips stood as follows at Friday's closing bell:
Drugmaker Richter jumped 4.2% to HUF 34,400 on a turnover of HUF 797 million.
Oil and gas group MOL advanced 1.5% to HUF 16,400 on a turnover of HUF 3.1 billion.
Magyar Telekom rose 1.2% to HUF 490 on a turnover of HUF 701 million.
OTP Bank finished unchanged at HUF 4,200 on a turnover of HUF 12.66 billion.
