BUX falls 1.15% on negative correction

The Budapest Stock Exchange’s blue-chip BUX index closed Tuesday trade down 1.15% to 16,924.89 on a negative correction of the index’s counter-trend gain on Monday.
The BUX lost 197.07 points on a light composite exchange turnover of HUF 8.12bn, fluctuating in a 1.6% range between an intra-session high of 17,143.88 at 12:15 p.m. and an intra-session low of 16,867.89 at 4:45 p.m.
BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Tuesday’s closing bell:
Oil and gas company MOL lost 3.01% to HUF 17,740 on a turnover of HUF 2.11bn;
Magyar Telekom declined 0.95% to HUF 520 on a turnover of HUF 546m;
Drug company Richter lost 0.89% to HUF 34,380 on a turnover of HUF 331m;
OTP Bank gained 0.83% to HUF 3,041 on an exchange-high turnover of HUF 4.99bn.
The BSE Big Four generated 98.2% of the exchange’s composite Tuesday turnover.
