BUX edges up 0.22% on low turnover
The Budapest Stock Exchange's main BUX index finished the session on Tuesday up 0.22% at 16,331.21 on a paltry turnover of HUF 10.2 billion.
OTP Bank lost 0.28% to HUF 3,605 on turnover of HUF 7.2 billion, nearly three-fourths of the session total.
Oil and gas company MOL climbed 0.38% to HUF 14,550 on turnover of HUF 1.7 billion.
Magyar Telekom advanced 1.05% to HUF 481 on turnover of HUF 577m.
Drugmaker Richter rose 0.33% to HUF 32,205 on turnover of HUF 564m.
The bourse's mid-cap BUMIX index fell 0.15% to 1,380.49.
Elsewhere in the region, Warsaw's WIG 20 was up 1.55% but the Prague PX inched down 0.02%.
Western Europe's biggest indices were all higher late Tuesday. London's FTSE 100 was up 1.84%, Frankfurt's DAX climbed 2.63% and the CAC 40 in Paris advanced 1.35%.
