BUX down 0.40%c at noon as gloomy corporate news weighs on sentiment

The BUX commenced afternoon trade 86.34 points lower at 21,332.37 on a light composite exchange turnover of HUF 2 billion.

BSE blue-chips stood as follows at Thursday noon:

OTP Bank was down 0.76% at HUF 5,379 on an exchange-high turnover of HUF 1.27 billion;

Drug company Richter was down 0.27% at HUF 36,300 on a turnover of HUF 58 million;

Oil and gas company MOL was down 0.17% at HUF 20,070 on a turnover of HUF 419 millio;

Magyar Telekom was up 0.37% at HUF 538 on a turnover of HUF 107 millio.

Major European blue-chip stock indices were lower at midday, with London's FTSE-100 down 0.66% and Frankfurt's Xetra DAX down 1.53%.

The BUX's central and eastern European high-cap peer indices were also lower at noon, with Prague's PX-50 down 0.03% and Warsaw's WIG-20 down 0.55%.
