Bubbles eyes network of 70-100 self-service laundries

Hungarian-owned self-service laundry operator Bubbles International, plans to raise its number of units in Hungary to 70-100 in the next 3-4 years, the company said today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

Bubbles recently opened its 25th unit in KecskemĂ©t. It plans to open at least 50 more units outside of the capital with the involvement of 20-25 franchise partners. 

The initial cost of setting up a unit averages at about net HUF 22 million, Bubbles told MTI.

The company was established in 2011. It opened its first unit outside of Budapest, in SzĂ©kesfehervár, last November.

Bubbles had an after-tax loss of HUF 43 mln on net revenue of HUF 30 mln in its 2014 business year, public records show.
