Bubbles eyes network of 70-100 self-service laundries

Hungarian-owned self-service laundry operator Bubbles International, plans to raise its number of units in Hungary to 70-100 in the next 3-4 years, the company said today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.
Bubbles recently opened its 25th unit in Kecskemét. It plans to open at least 50 more units outside of the capital with the involvement of 20-25 franchise partners.
The initial cost of setting up a unit averages at about net HUF 22 million, Bubbles told MTI.
The company was established in 2011. It opened its first unit outside of Budapest, in Székesfehervár, last November.
Bubbles had an after-tax loss of HUF 43 mln on net revenue of HUF 30 mln in its 2014 business year, public records show.
