BSE spot market turnover edges up to HUF 142 bln in January

Spot market turnover on the Budapest stock exchange came to HUF 141.5 bln in January, down 1.5% from the previous month, a report by the bourse shows. Share turnover accounted for HUF 132.5 bln of the total. 

On the derivatives market, turnover came to HUF 305 bln, up 36% from the previous month. Erste Befektetési was the top trader during the month, brokering share transactions of HUF 43.2 bln.
