Bourse turnover continues to fall in November
Average daily share turnover on the spot market of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE) came to HUF 5.1 bln in November, down from HUF 5.6 bln in the previous month, the BSE said on its website.
Erste Investment was the biggest trader in shares in November, accounting for 19.5% of turnover. Wood and Company was runner-up with 14.6%, followed by Equilor Investment with 14.5%.
Total turnover on the BSE exceeded HUF 101 bln in November, including share turnover of HUF 97.6 bln.
Turnover on the derivatives market came to almost HUF 360 bln, or 1.1m in terms of the number of contracts, up 1.6% from October.
