ANY profit growth accelerates despite slower revenue rise

Hungarian printing company ANY's net income climbed 41% to HUF 802 mln in the first nine months from a year earlier, the company's earnings report published on Friday showed. The first half result was HUF 570 mln, up 36% from a year earlier.
Net revenue rose 26% to HUF 17.1 bln after rising 30% to HUF 11.47 bln in the first half of this year. Export sales increased 37% to HUF 5.6 bln in the first nine months after growing 59% to more than HUF 3.7 bln in the first half.
But direct cost of sales increased only by 26% to HUF 12.3 bln after rising 36% to HUF 8.28 bln in the first half of this year. Operating profit jumped 54% to HUF 1.1 bln after rising 48% to HUF 768 in the first half of the year. Printing house ANY is a Premium category issuer on the Budapest Stock Exchange.
