ANY net income falls 10% in Q1-Q3

Net income of ANY Security Printing Company fell 10% to HUF 726 million in Q1-Q3 from the same period a year earlier, an earnings report published late yesterday reveals.

Revenue dropped 6% to HUF 16.1 billion, but improved margins reduced direct cost of sales further, by 8% to HUF 11.3 bln.

Gross profit slipped 1% to HUF 4.8 bln.

A fall in other costs lifted operating profit by about 1% to HUF 1.1 bln.

ANY noted that exports accounted for 39% of turnover during the period, thanks to the activities of its units in Romania, Bulgaria and Slovakia as well as direct deliveries to Africa.
