Amendment would require energy performance certificates for rental homes
A proposed amendment posted on the government's website would require energy performance certificates for all rental homes from the start of next year.
Presentation of the certificate would be mandatory when signing any rental contract, under the amendment.
The certificates cost between HUF 40,000 and HUF 120,000.
