Hungary's ACE Telecom on Wednesday said it had acquired the Wi-Fi hotspots of peer Wiera, Hungarian news agency MTI reported. 

Hungary's ACE Telecom on Wednesday said it had acquired the Wi-Fi hotspots of peer Wiera, according to Hungarian news agency MTI. ACE Telecom did not disclose the price of the transaction, which will double the number of its free hotspots. In the capital, there are Wiera hotspots in ten hotels, in Burger King restaurants and in several cafés. The hotspots can also be found in other big cities around the country. ACE Telecom targets revenue of HUF 870 mln this year, up from HUF 785 mln last year. Next year, it expects turnover to reach HUF 1 bln. The company plans capital expenditures of HUF 200m this year, in addition to the price of the Wiera acquisition.
