Researchers at the University of Szeged have established a platform to support the development of IoLT (Internet of Living Things) applications, backed by HUF 811 million in European Union funding, the school's PR directorate told Hungarian news agency MTI.
The university experts made the platform with the cooperation of industry partners, both Hungarian and foreign.
The platform supports the programming of low-power sensors and focuses on the secure collection and processing of data.
The project also produced a smart bracelet that can be used for complex analysis of movement and could support early detection of changes in the condition of people with psychiatric disorders.
