SAP Introducing ERP System Tailored for SMEs

Innovation

Grow with SAP is a new, cloud-based ERP system targeted at small and medium-sized businesses, enabling speed, predictability, and continuous innovation.

"SAP's ERP solution has long enabled business process and data visibility for the world's leading companies. With Grow with SAP, we're taking this to the next level for midsize companies with a tailored offering to help them grow their businesses," said Christian Klein, CEO and member of the executive board, SAP SE. "Grow with SAP will provide the agility and innovation that SMEs need to make decisions now and succeed for years to come."

SAP has been supporting customers in all industries for 50 years, benchmarking and defining industry-specific best practices. Grow with SAP provides these pre-configured best practices to midsize companies, which they can immediately implement into their operations. In addition to the benefits of the public cloud release of SAP S/4Hana Cloud, Groq with SAP offers a global community of experts, free training modules, targeted services to facilitate usage, and a deployment and go-live in as little as four weeks.

Grow with SAP is built on the SAP Business Technology Platform, allowing customers to define their own processes in the cloud using SAP Build. With SAP Build solutions, business users can create enterprise applications, automate processes and design business websites without writing code, allowing them to design and customize the solutions they need.

"Using the SAP S/4HanaCloud public cloud edition, when developing a new product, with the click of a button, everyone sees exactly the same prices, product data, daily and next-day sales forecasts. The public cloud release of SAP S/4Hana Cloud helps us to have a complete view of our own inventory, capacity and delivery times, so we can work more efficiently and provide a better experience for our customers worldwide," said Guy Claesen, CEO of Riho, a bathroom sanitary ware manufacturer and distributor.

Research by IDC (International Data Corporation) shows that many mid-sized companies are growing rapidly, while facing problems of almost the same complexity as a large enterprise.

"With the creation of Grow with SAP, SAP has recognized how it can better meet the business and technology needs of midsize companies looking for a cloud ERP solution," said Mickey North Rizza, vice president of IDC's Enterprise Software Group. "With this development comes a refreshing new opportunity for SAP to further strengthen its expertise and leadership in cloud ERP in a new segment."
