Pécs U winds up HUF 3.4 bln R&D program

The University of Pécs said on Tuesday that it has wound up a five-year HUF 3.38 billion research and development program, expanding its research capacities and developing its research services, according to a report by state news wire MTI.
The university acquired medical, technical, and educational equipment for HUF 560 million, and signed more than 130 cooperation agreements with domestic and foreign companies and higher education institutions.
The program was supported with funding from the government and the European Union.
