More Hungarians seeking private healthcare
According to a recent Hungarian study, the expertise, the person of the doctor, and available free time are the three most important aspects when planning to use a private health care service, but the perceived value for money and the range of services offered also play an important role, writes profitline.hu.
In recent years, the capacity for public health care has shrunk due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the length of waiting lists has increased in the wake of COVID.
As a result, more people have turned to private health care and have access to reimbursable care, trying to find their way around the available services and clinics.
