Hungary Holds Position in Global Innovation Ranking

Hungary has held on to its spot in 34th place in the latest annual Global Innovation Index of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), state news wire MTI reports.
Hungary ranked 23rd in the knowledge and technology outputs pillar of the index, 30th in terms of business sophistication, and 35th with an eye to infrastructure.
It was in 46th place in the creative outputs pillar and 67th considering market sophistication.
Hungary was behind Czechia (30th place) in the ranking, but ahead of Poland (38th) and Slovakia (46th).
