Around half of Hungarians have basic digital skills

Around 49% of Hungarians aged 16 to 74 have at least basic overall digital skills, state news wire MTI reports citing indicators published by statistical agency Eurostat.

The rate was under the 54% average for the European Union as a whole.

In a regional comparison, the rate of individuals with basic digital skills stood at 60% in Czechia, 43% in Poland, and 55% in Slovakia, the data from 2021 show.
