3/4 of Hungarians Use Financial App
Some 73% of Hungarians use some kind of financial application, which has become the second most popular type following social media applications, according to recent representative research by Magyar Bankholding.
Speed and convenience were mentioned as the biggest advantages of online banking, while directness and personality are the most preferred in personal administration.
Less than a third of the respondents visit bank branches regularly, but we prefer to apply for credit products in person.
Half of the Hungarian population uses their internet bank several times a week. Another 22% of the respondents replied that they access the interface once a week, and only 2% do so less often than once a month.
Bank mobile applications are also equally popular. Some 56% of the population use the application provided by their bank several times a week, 19% once a week, and only 1% of those surveyed do not use their bank's application on their smartphone.
