Suzuki’s market share exceeds 12% in Hungary

The market share of Suzuki in Hungary exceeded 12% in January, raising the Hungarian subsidiary of the Japanese car manufacturer to the top position in the sector, according to a press release issued today.

According to recent data provided by Datahouse, of the 5,567 registered personal cars in January, 677 models were from Suzukiʼs production lines, giving the brand 12.16% market share in the country.

Suzuki sold 476 Vitara models in Hungary, and was the leader in the SUV category with a market share of 28.12% in Hungary, Suzuki said.

Suzuki added that the “B” segment is also being led by the company’s Swift which has a market share of 13.33%, while S-Cross gained 4.24% in the “C” segment. Celerio gained a market share of 26.67% in the “A” segment.
