State-owned NIF announces winners to build M44

The state-owned National Infrastructure Development Company (NIF) has announced the winners of tenders to construct a 62-kilometer stretch of a dual carriageway between Tiszakürt and Kondoros in southeast Hungary, state news agency MTI reported.

Planned to be built in three phases, the first and third stretches of the road will be built by a consortium of Duna Aszfalt and Hódút, who won with bids of HUF 56.5 bln and HUF 45.2 bln, respectively, according to MTI.

A consortium of EuroAszfalt, Swietelsky Magyarország, Soltút and A-Híd won the tender to build the middle stretch with a bid of HUF 44.0 bln, MTI added.
