Hungarian startup in Boston finals

Hungarian startup Remotaid has qualified for the finals of the Boston-based MassChallange, where it will compete against 127 other startups for the final prize. Altogether 1,700 startups had entered the competition in the beginning.
Péter Tátrai, CEO of Remotaid, will now spend four months in a 2,500 square meter office with the representatives of the other 127 competitors. During this period, senior managers of well-known corporations will mentor the startup leaders.
MassChallenge awards more than $1.5 million in cash grants and more than $10 million of in-kind deals for startups to boost their entrepreneurship.
Remotaid offers permanent surveillance of the fetus in safe, convenient and familiar surroundings. The Remotaid Home Monitor guarantees that checkups do not affect the fetus in any way, thus the device can be used without time limit. The collected data is stored in a secure cloud-based system and is accessible only to mothers and their physicians.
The startup is the portfolio team of Traction Tribe, an early stage startup traction composer company. The company claims to be the catalyst of tech startups from Europe looking to enter the U.S. market.
