Incubators

The inner workings of Budapestʼs startup scene will be on display between April 21-22 for the Startup Safari, during which 70 startups and other participants will open their doors to the general public, according to a press release issued by the organizers today.

Visitors will gain access to the offices and labs of local startups for a tour, be able to participate in breakfast meetings, workshops, mentoring sessions, hackathons and tech meetups, the press release noted.

The investor dinner will also give prospective entrepreneurs and venture capitalists as well as angels from around Europe a chance to meet and network. Jeff Burton, co-founder of video gaming company Electronic Arts will also be making a stop in Budapest for the event.

Budapest is a thematically relevant location for the event as it is the birthplace of a number of successful startups including Prezi, LogMeIn, Ustream and Skyscanner among many others.
