Telenor Magyarorszag completes next-generation network

Telenor Magyarorszag has finished building its next-generation mobile telecommunications network, CEO Christopher Laska said at a press conference on Monday.

The high-speed network offers coverage to 71% of Hungary’s population, Mr Laska said.

Telenor Magyarorszag signed a five-year contract worth €200m at list prices on the construction of the LTE (Long Term Evolution) network with China’s ZTE in the summer of 2010.
