Survey: Salaries to grow by 5.3% in Hungary in 2015
International corporations present in Hungary have, on average, increased salaries by 4.6% in 2014, while inflation was virtually zero during the same period, a survey published by napi.hu on Thursday revealed.
The companies participating in the survey are planning to raise salaries by 5.3% in 2015, still several percentage points above the inflation rate forecasts. Key factors determining differences in pay rises are geography, position within the company, size of the company and qualifications of the employee. The industry in which the employer functions, does not seem to be an important factor in the results.
