SkyEurope's CFO to leave by end of 2006

SkyEurope Airlines Chief Financial Officer Erhard Schmidt will leave his post by the end of the year because of personal reasons, the carrier said.

Schmidt will be replaced by Lane Zirnhelt, the Bratislava, Slovakia-based low-cost carrier's current finance manager, the airline's SkyEurope Holding AG parent company said in an e-mailed statement released late on December 22, after the market closed and Europe's four-day Christmas holiday began.
