Schwabe companies fined for misleading advertising

Hungary's Competition Office (GVH) fined Schwabe Hungary HUF 315,000 and Schwabe Central and Eastern Europe HUF 4.53 bln on charges of misleading advertising, the office reported today.

According to GVH, the companies made health claims in their advertisements of their products, dubbed Pearls, that violated regulations.
