Propharmatech receives HUF 2.3 mln fine

Hungarian healthcare product manufacturer and distributor Propharmatech has been fined HUF 2.299 million by the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) on charges of misleading advertising of its DIA B dietary supplement product, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
According to the authority, the company has made misleading statements and exaggerated claims about the beneficial health effects of DIA B, when in fact it is only classified as a general foodstuff, MTI reported. The authority added that the company has violated regulations several times in the past.
