MNB fines OTP Faktoring HUF 8 mln

The National Bank of Hungary (MNB) fined OTP Faktoring approximately HUF 8 million on charges of failing to properly manage client complaints, Hungarian news agency MTI reported today.
MNB charged OTP Faktoring for not recording phone calls from clients registering complaints, not confirming registration of complaints and not managing complaint records properly.
In addition to administrative deficiencies, the companyʼs internal rules for complaint management were not in full compliance with legal requirements, the MNB charged.
