Lidl to launch mobile services in Hungary

German discount chain Lidl is launching mobile telecommunications services in Hungary, daily Nepszabadsag said on Wednesday, citing the website hwsw.hu.
Lidl will not enter the market as a mobile virtual network operator, but as a reseller of Lidl-branded services, the paper said. Magyar Telekom will be Lidl’s partner in the business venture, it added.
Lidl has about 150 shops in Hungary.
