Wholly state-owned IT company Kopint-Datorg has changed its name to the National Infocommunications Services (NISZ) Zrt, the company told MTI on Thursday.
NISZ Zrt, which functions under the organizational authority of the National Development Ministry, has been managed by the National Asset Management Company (MNV) since 2008 through its legal predecessor. The company remains the government’s strategic ICT infrastructure-operating company.
The portfolio of NISZ Zrt includes the development and operation of centralized government IT infrastructure, the carrying out of duties connected to the “government network service provider” as stipulated in statutory regulations, the operation of the government portal site magyarorszag.hu and other related tasks.
