Hungary mobile internet subscription number climbs to 2.023m in November

The number of mobile internet subscriptions in Hungary rose to 2,023,000 in November, while the number of active mobile internet subscriptions - those who used the service at some time during the previous three months - climbed to 1,585,000 from 1,545,000 a month earlier, the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) said on Thursday.

Mobile internet subscribers transferred 1,715,000 gigabytes of data in November, up from 1,661,000 in October.

In terms of subscriber numbers, T-Mobile’s market share rose to 47.64% in November from 47.46% in October. Telenor’s share fell to 28.40% from 28.60% and Vodafone’s share rose to 23.97% from 23.95%.

In terms of active subscriptions, T-Mobile’s share rose to 46.79% from 46.29%, Telenor’s share rose to 29.00% from 28.98% and Vodafone’s share declined to 24.21% from 24.72%.
