Hungary mobile internet subscription number climbs to 1.946m in October

The number of mobile internet subscriptions in Hungary rose to 1,946,000 in October, while the number of active mobile internet subscriptions - those who used the service at some time during the previous three months - climbed to 1,545,000 from 1,488,000 a month earlier, the National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) said on Friday.
Mobile internet subscribers transferred 1,661,000 gigabytes of data in October, up from 1,466,000 in September.
In terms of subscriber numbers, T-Mobile’s market share rose to 46.29% in October from 46.18% in September. Telenor’s share rose to 28.60% from 28.42% and Vodafone’s share dropped to 23.95% from 24.35%.
In terms of active subscriptions, T-Mobile’s share rose to 46.29% from 46.18%, Telenor’s share rose to 28.98% from 28.71% and Vodafone’s share declined to 24.72% from 25.11%.
