Hungary examines energy, banking and retail consumer services

The government will set up committees of industry experts to draft reports on pricing and consumer protection in the energy and banking industries and on the situation of suppliers to Hungary's retail chains, government spokeswoman Emese Danks told reporters at a press conference today. The committees, to be established in two weeks, are also expected to suggest possible government action to improve consumer services in the industries being examined, Danks added. (Bloomberg)
