Hungary drafts e-mobility blueprint
Hungaryʼs Jedlik Ányos Plan, a blueprint for the regulatory and support framework required for popularizing electromobility, has been completed and will soon be presented to the cabinet, National Economy Minister Mihály Varga said on Friday.
The Jedlik Ányos Plan includes proposals for direct and indirect incentives, and it lists necessary regulatory changes. Incentives will include the use of bus lanes, reduced parking and motorway fees, and tax breaks for owners of electric cars, Varga said after arriving at an EV charging station in an electric car. New regulation on traffic rules related to e-mobility could be in place by the end of September and ones on incentives by the end of November.
