Hungary ad market worth HUF 151.5 bln in 2011

Hungary's advertising market was worth HUF 151.5 billion in 2011, daily Népszabadság said on Thursday, citing data from the Hungarian Advertising Association.

Television commercials accounted for 36.2% of the total, ads in printed media for 27.5%, online ads for 18.8%, billboard ads for 10%, radio spots for 4.9%, ambient ads for 1.8% and cinema ads for 0.7%.

The data excludes commissions paid ad agents.
