GVH fines Magyar Telekom Ft 100 mln for misleading advertising
The GVH said Magyar Telekom's wireless division, which operates under the name T-Mobile, had advertised a subscriber package with per-minute and text-message charges of just Ft 15, a fraction of the regular charges. However, T-Mobile failed to note in the advertisements that the text-message charges were only for those sent within Hungary, and that the per-minute voice charges were only for off-peak calls made to landline telephones within Magyar Telekom's network.
