Forint weakens to new record low on interbank market

The forint traded at 323.61 to the euro on the interbank forex market on Thursday morning shortly after 9.30 a.m., a new all-time weakest for the Hungarian currency.

Its previous record low was 321.61 to the euro late Wednesday.

The forint also weakened further to 249.95 to the dollar on Thursday morning compared to 247.95 late on Wednesday.

The forint traded at 265.24 to the Swiss franc on Thursday morning, softening from 263.36 late on Wednesday.
