Forint weakens on interbank market
The forint traded at 314.56 to the euro shortly after 17:30 on Tuesdayʼs interbank market, softening from 313.34 late Monday. On Tuesday the euro moved between 311.61 and 314.73. The forint was mostly steady against the euro in the morning and the early afternoon, but started to weaken late in the afternoon.
The forint traded at 275.65 to the dollar, down from 270.14 late on Monday. The forint traded at 271.50 to the dollar up until 14:30 but then started softening.
The forint was quoted at 290.42 to the Swiss franc compared to 289.03 Monday. After reaching a daily high of 287.38 shortly after 10:00 the forint continued to weaken throughout the whole day.
