Forint weakens on interbank market
The forint weakened on Friday morning's interbank market, trading at 274.57 to the euro at 10:30 a.m., compared to a rate of 272.99 at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
Dealers attribute the forint's weakening to global market-factors, notably those connected to the euro's weakening against both the dollar and the Swiss franc.
The forint also weakened against the Swiss franc and the US dollar on Friday morning, trading at 245.66 to the CHF and 192.90 to the dollar at 10:30 a.m., compared to rates of 240.46 and 191.41, respectively, at 5:45 p.m. and Thursday.
