Forint mixed on interbank market


The forint traded at 311.45 to the euro at 17:30 on Mondayʼs interbank market, softening from 310.80 late last Friday. On Monday the euro moved between 309.85 and 311.60. The forint slowly but steadily weakened against the euro, with small technical corrections occasionally halting its decline.

The forint traded at 283.49 to the dollar, up from 284.46 late on Friday. The forint traded at 284.62 to the dollar shortly after 13:00 but then started strengthening.

The forint was quoted at 287.58 to the Swiss franc compared to 289.23 Friday. After reaching a low point of 289.15 shortly before noon the forint continued to strengthen throughout the whole afternoon.
