Forint firms to EUR, CHF, softens to USD

The forint was trading at 307.04 to the euro at 5:30pm on Mondayʼs interbank forex market, up from 308.88 late on Friday, strengthening steadily. The forint slipped to 278.54 from 277.67 against the dollar. The forint weakened against the dollar on Monday despite brief intervals when the dollar-forint exchange rate edged lower. The forint firmed to 278.90 from 280.52 against the Swiss franc. The forint was steady in the early morning but after that it continuously strengthened against the franc.
