Ericsson to hold R&D event on September 26

This year Ericsson Hungary is organizing its sixth Researchers’ Night on September 26, and is expecting more than 5,000 visitors at their Research and Development Center in Science Park, a statement said today.

The firm will offer visitors a variety of over 50 programs and a record breaking attempt supported by 100 Ericsson volunteers. Visitors will be able to remote control drones, robots and mind-controlled cars, the announcement added.

The company has a headcount of approximately 1,700 in Hungary. Ericsson Hungary is the strategic partner of Magyar Telekom, and the exclusive provider of the telco’s mobile network, the announcement added.
