Elmű-Émász buys theft-proof transformer from ABB
Hungarian electricity service provider Elmű-Émász purchased theft-proof “PoleDry” transformers from the Hungarian subsidiary of international ABB to increase protection of outdoor infrastructure, according to a press release issued today.

The company expects the recently purchased solution to contribute to more secure and more efficient operations, ABB said in the press statement.
“ABB’s pole transformators have several advantages that lead to significant cost savings and more efficient operations by electricity providers,” Dénes Domonkos of ABB said, adding that currently this is the only product on the market that is considered theft proof.
