Central bank fines private individual HUF 20 mln

An unnamed private individual has been fined HUF 20 million on charges of insider training by the National Bank of Hungary (MNB), the regulator announced today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.    

The central bank was reported to have charged the individual with placing an order for shares in packaging materials manufacturer Kartonpack, based on insider information. The central bank added it has also launched a criminal procedure against the unnamed individual, MTI added.
